30 Day Drawing Challenge - Days 1-5

Some friends at work put together a 30 day drawing challenge (check it out here) I'v been drawing like crazy lately, figured this would be another great challenge for me.

DAY 1 - Muppet

I chose Animal. Woman! Woman!!!

DAY 2 - Favorite Sport

Though I don't reflect it as much as I used to, huge fan of cycling. 

Man I need to go riding again soon. 

DAY 3 - First car/bike/mode of transportation

My little brother and I must have gone through a half dozen big wheels growing up. We loved sliding and spinning around in these. Much like what I imagine Fast and the furious:Tokyo drift was all about. It wouldn't surprise me if the writers for that movie saw us  

DAY 4 - A secret about yourself

I knew (and lets face it, probably still know) all the words to pretty much all the songs from ‘Newsies’. I watched that movie more than I care to admit over the years as a youth. 

DAY 5 - Favorite movie

It's nearly impossible to choose one, Last Crusade is definitely close to if not the top of my list. A coworker and I were just talking about this movie the other day.

In so many ways this film was my intro to story education.

So theres round one. Figure I'll post em once a week till we have all 30, so please check in next week for 6 - 10.

Character challenge - rhino

A buddy of mine at work is in the process of expanding his portfolio. He wanted to add more characters to his arsenal. So for fun we're doing a weekly challenge together. For our first at bat he called for a rhino. In all honesty I knocked this out very quickly and consider it very rough.

Non the less I felt like sharing. I'll link my buddies work next week. Our theme then is of my choosing. I challenged at a '007 villain reject' Can't wait!
