I'v finished every month off so far this year with a self portrait or caricature. I have seldomly attempted to draw myself at profile. Not sure this one is a huge success, but that's ok with me. It gives me a bar to continue to raise. I think June 30th I'll try a caricature at profile. I consider this one a bit more comic book inspired.

Well if there was ever a character request I'v taken liberties with (which I said I might) it was this fella. Truth be told, I think there are going to be a few more liberties taken before these characters are wrapped up. 
For Dave, who's answers involved neither an animal or an actual profession. Alliteration excites Dave. So here's his Triceratops on a tricycle. 
So this gal was inspired by Katy, who's animal was an Owl and whom wanted to be a teacher when she grew up. 
Alright. This is an illustration I did last night for a bit of fun. Slight break from the character designs here. I'll be back at em tomorrow. Speaking of tomorrow, after midnight pacific time tomorrow night I will no longer take submissions for the character challenge.
Also!! I went back in to spend a bit more time on a couple previous entries that didn't get as much love the first time around.
Lastly!!! I can't thank those whom have contributed answers / character concepts over these past couple of weeks enough, however all good things must come to an end. The call for ideas was met with an overwhelming response; much more so than I expected. I currently have enough suggestions via response to last me a week or two here.

Probably the most challenging combo yet! My props to Megan with the idea here. Her picks, an Actress and a Sea Turtle.

Here you go (username)'Fatty'. I decided to have a bit of extra fun with your request. Fatty wanted to be a ballerina when he/she grew up and couldn't narrow down a favorite animal between polar bear, monkey, gorilla, and a panda bear. So here's a day at the ballet with all four. Didn't have time today to drop in tone and color, but really do plan on revisiting this set of characters as these were a blast to create.

Alright. So here ya go Michelle. Thanks so much for your reply. I would never have thought to conceive such a character. Michelle's animal and profession was "Housewife & Duck". Tomorrow will be Steve's picks.

So my friend Mike Helped me come up with this guy. I asked him for an animal and what he wanted to be when he grew up, to which he replied 'octopus and astronaut'. Now granted I embellished a bit, but I thank him for the idea.
Did some quick caricatures at the local coffee cafe the other day. Here's the first half. I'll eventually drop them all in photoshop and give em a bit more love.
