So this piece totally took a direction of its own after I laid out the initial sketch. I'm happy with how it turned out. I might have to explore a bit more with this Deco Saul Bass-esque look.

This weeks theme over at Art Jumble was fight club. Thought I would try a less obvious approach to the topic, as well I'm still getting used to painting in photoshop.

Laid up in bed sick yet again. Looks like another trip down memory lane in the meanwhile.

These guys were concept designs for my portfolio back in college. The project they were sketched for apparently never saw the light of day, but they were a blast to draw non the less.
It's fun checking these out. I don't really put this much detail into my rough character concepts anymore. I might have to play with some of these in photoshop one day.
This last guy was a bit overkill. I remember the script called for an extreme/over the top character. Kind of a beefed up version of the first two up top.

Just pushing myself to try new things here. Still getting the hang of painting in photoshop quickly. Pretty sure I have tons of room to improve, but non the less I'm really enjoying the process.
