Summer at the LA Zoo

I bought a zoo pass again after what must have been a six year hiatus. I used to go all the time in high school with my friends. So it's been both fun and memorable. We had this tradition of always warming up with the kangaroos, I still can't seem to shake that tradition. 

I started using prisma color markers in my drawings. I have enjoyed the little extra definition it has brought my life drawings. I have grown very comfortable sketching in pen and ink, so the change in pace is fun. 

I have been trying to get out to the zoo about once a week with a close friend and fellow artist of mine, So I would imagine this is but one of many soon to come zoo drawing posts.
